Primrose Lane Spring Show
Friday, April 29, 2011
Once again Janice from Primrose Lane has done a really fun show. The show was held at three indoor locations in Coburg, Oregon. The weather has been so bad (read - not spring) here that a diversion is welcome. I purchased two great vintage bracelets for Nicole's wedding in July. The jewelry room was almost overwhelming with so much merchandise.

This photo is directly from Magnolia Pearl. She designs very funky, unusual clothing. Ruffles, lace and very feminine. I thought that these petticoat skirts were wonderful and really lovely. I really don't know anyone who would be comfortable wearing these things....they are really artwork. Maybe it is just me wishing for a nice warm spring day....it was sunny and cold yesterday.

I purchased these two patterns in February. I am ready to make the projects. I have a lot of small fabrics collected to use on the Cupcake Pincushion. I think that these will be something I can complete in an afternoon. Of course the handbag will take longer. I have "cabin fever" really bad, this rain is lasting forever. Hum...rain and snow since last October...7 months. Ugh. I hope that keeping busy inside my studio will keep me entertained.

I am watching the snow today, and hope that it doesn't get deep. I am so... wanting some sunny weather. The spring white brings out my collection of vases I want to share. I like the heavy ceramic vases of yesteryear. McCoy, Shawnee, Heager, and other American potteries. Why white, well... it was produced in large quantities, and I think that they are very versatile for any time of the year.
