Therefore, I am planning my first camping trip in Prairie Flower. I was putting some provisions inside her, and someone locked herself out. I don't have an outdoor equipment compartment that someone small might gain entrance.
I pondered the situation for a day or two... wah!!
U tube is my friend, after some research I discovered some ideas.
How to pick a lock. It looks easy enough, but haven't tried it. They also suggested that trying to use other keys that may open the lock, a very similar key could do the trick.
I didn't know if I had an extra key, problem.
If I had to, I could remove the window from the door. Not out of choice, but I know how to do it. I do know someone who had to do it.
We have a stash of all kinds of keys, so it took them to try the other key option.
There were more than 4 keys that could open the door.
My good news is that I found my trailer key. Within that mass of keys, I had actually put a tag on it!!! Good Luck!!!
My lesson is that I need to replace the entrance lock, for my security, and add a deadbolt.
If this ever happens again, I know something that will help.
