It has been one heck of a year. We’ve all felt the heaviness, grief and loss on many levels.
Take some time in the next couple of days to reflect on the events that have occurred for you personally as well as nationally and globally over the past 12 months. Check in with yourself. Where were you at the end of the year in 2019 and where are you now? Just acknowledge everything that you have experienced in 2020... Feelings you’ve had, situations you’ve dealt with, heartache you’ve endured, changes, trauma… All of it.
Take some time and write it all down. And then sit with it. Allow yourself to feel it. Breathe into it and release. Let it all go with gratitude. The challenges that we have encountered this year have been a gift to help us to awaken to our purpose, to clarify our values and to help us to learn more about ourselves in a deep, meaningful way.
Let’s end 2020 on a high note… With our hearts filled with compassion, love, newfound resiliency, strength and a determination to move forward on our path together better than before. Ask for help if needed. Namaste.
