I am kinda slow when new trends pop up. Pinterest helps me stay informed about trends. I will just say that I really like this ring stacking that is popular. It looks better than a ring on every finger to me.
I like the look of mixing things up, not to be matchy-matchy. Use several metals and materials that look good to you. My stack is (bottom up) a diamond band in white gold. I have owned this ring for 20 yrs at least.
The middle ring is Sterling Silver with a pretty turquoise stone.
The top ring is Sterling Silver in a small band, and features a tiny silver heart.
I purchased both of the top rings at Goodwill for way less than I want to admit. This is a good way to go, to purchase the sterling rings second hand at a thrift store, or a consignment store. My experience is that it is possible to find a $1000 ring (the new price), for about $250 when on consignment. Probably a 14K ring with diamonds in the setting.
Anyway, just for fun, get a few at Goodwill and try them on.
I think that a wedding stack is pretty nice, the ability to add more, and move them to a different order is a smart idea. The result is astonishing. Well, back in my day it was way different. Get a Solitaire diamond at a price point that was affordable. End of Story.
This is an amazing stack of rings. Say, you could start out with 2 or 3. Then add on others for occasions, birth of child, valentine day, your birthday.. Anyway, what a great idea.
Have Fun!!!
