Frustration

 I am feeling pretty frustrated with the Old Man. I don't understand him, most of the time. Mostly, it doesn't make sense rationality wise.

I do see that he is getting worse, and there is nothing I can do about it...but dealing with it is pretty difficult.

Just a week ago, he told me that his cell phone had lost all his contacts, they just disappeared! I got his phone and tried to teach him how to find his contacts. He said that he wouldn't be able to remember my instructions. OK, I said I would write them down on a slip of paper to keep in his wallet. Of course, that wasn't going to happen. 

He doesn't want to drive anymore. He must have decided he couldn't do it...well, whatever it is....he's not telling me. 

Let me tell you....sending an entire day driving him around is hard for me. A long drive 2-3 hours is torture. 

He left on a 1 1/2 hr drive to set up his hunting camp. Sometimes it is best for him to enjoy the freedom he has....yes, I understood that something could happen.

He didn't want to go in the end. He said he has lost all interest in archery hunting. He loves this sport the most of all, and he has longtime men friends that always hunt with him.

I said that he had to go....and to have a good time. I gave him 3 days, and he would be home. But surprise...this happened!

He called yesterday, and told me that he was having a great time... a blast!

Signing out, I am not crazy.
