OMG............
24 hours ago, I was walking in the field beside my home.
Suddenly, I stepped into a hole of the uneven ground. I went down, no matter how hard I tried....I couldn't get up to walk back. I made it up 1 time, then my leg gave way and I went face first into the ground. Oh, Old Man is away hunting, no cell phone on me....and it is turning dark quickly. I had the horror of thinking that I am doomed to staying there all night! I tried yelling HELP to passing cars....didn't work....
I judged the distance to the house, pretty far maybe 50 yards. about how far I needed to go. I ended up crawling on my hands and knees all that way. Miserably, it took about an hour. I got to the front door and still could not get upright. Bummer!!!! There is a sturdy chair not far inside, and the closet has walking sticks inside. Thankfully, with the chair, I got myself sitting in it. The walking stick really helped to get on my feet and with it I could barely get around.
