I have been wanting to upcycle a gently worn jean jacket. My idea was to make it into a vest, although I might not cut the shelves off. Last week I finally found a jacket to use, after thrifting for 4 months.
I have a good stash of now vintage Pendleton wool. It is mostly just small bits of native design wool fabric for clothing and blanket trimmings.
I have been saving the fabric, waiting for the perfect idea for use. Hum...it is time to start using the fabric.
The maker of this jacket calls it The Dutton Jacket. I do like the metal rivets as a design element.
I also have a vintage wool sweater from my mom. It is horse themed but it is small for me (I don't believe that she wore it), however I think that I will felt it. I would love to use it..perhaps???
I also thrifted a turquoise and sterling hat band, now I know how I will use it.
