I am teaching myself to play a tiny soprano ukulele. It is hard to finger chords on the small neck. Tonight, the local ukulele club has their once a week meeting. Some or most of the people are really into this hobby. This I know for sure...I am the only person there playing a $10 uke. They all have high quality tenor ukulele's...read expensive. Boy, those ukes sound great, and sure are pretty! I learned really quickly, and the thing is the chords are completely different from a guitar. I messed up by reverting to the guitar fingerings, sometimes. You know what, they are really welcoming and I had fun. I know that this club is good for me.
