Yes, snow is fun...sometimes. This vintage photo from pinterest caught my eye. The college women from a bygone time...wearing skirts. Snow shoes are pretty difficult to use in this area, you see, we have very heavy wet snow. Heavy snow wears a person out in no time at all. If there is a packed trail, it isn't bad. I have never tried it, not so interested with our type of snow...we call it Willamette cement. Got the idea. Today we had a light snowfall, but there is none on the ground. Yay!! And believe it or not...I have a hummingbird feeder up, we often have a really early male Rufous Hummingbird...migration is going on, and there have been some birds along the Oregon coast.
