I know that my education about the history of the USA is missing many important facts. I watched a documentary on the Revolutionary War yesterday. I was surprised to learn that only about 1/3 of the males who were allowed to vote at that time were supportive of the separation of the USA from England. That is certainly much different than I believed. I believed that an overwhelming majority of men were supportive of the revolution.
