It seems when we think that spring is on this way....hummingbirds and daffodils...we get a small taste of winter again. This weekend has given us a big reminder, strong winds, and much rain. There is a forecast of snow, maybe low enough for our farm. I sure hope that the snow stays above our elevation.
The chickadee in the photo? The birds know that this weather is coming and are eating all kinds of wild bird food that I feed them. The deer, elk and turkeys are eating all they can before it snows. I am happy that we do not have any little calves yet. Time to stay indoors and wait it out.
