This is the new view from my front door. Well, it was there all along...but we could not see it. There was a stand of many large Douglas Fir trees growing across the road from us. The trees have been cut and removed over the last 3 weeks. I am not unhappy or upset about the logging...that is what is happening all around us. I do love this view. The mountain in the far background is Sinker Mountain, and the elevation is 4700'. The distance is 10 1/2 air miles. I am enjoying the view! I can easily see the snow level now.
