I started giving to Toys for Tots several years ago. My strategy is to purchase things when I saw a great sale throughout the year. The last few years I have focused on a special group that has been hard to serve. Who? Teen girls, and the kinds of things that are good for them. I don't mean the typical hats and glove sets...boring. I focus on art project kits, and similar fun items. I wish that took a pic to show you.... I had a box full of donations.
Today, I dropped off my donations at the local credit union. These donations go to local kids. I hope that the girls enjoy my donations. I feel good for my simple things that I give anomalously.
