As a backyard bird watcher, the joy from the wild birds brings me happiness. The Goldfinch has a pretty song, and they fly in small flocks of 10-15 members.
I saw 12 of them sitting in a line on the fence together, this is typical here. They love feeders, and readily come to a speciality niger seed feeder.
