The truth is finally out, what IS happening here in Oregon.
I am on my soapbox, you see that I have gone from numb to angry!
The top of the COVIS-19 curve here happened on March 26.
The models that were being used, were not right. Not right by about 1000%.
Citizens were and are convinced that they were going to die.
The hospitals were never in the situation with too many people needing care. Hospital employees were told to go home here, lack of work...there were no elective surgeries, and people stayed away. This was due to the fear of COVID-19.
The next day the Governor put out the Stay at Home order.
She shut down nearly every business in the state.
There have been very few actual positive cases, due to lack of testing.
The vast majority of the few deaths were to the extremely aged, frail, and already very compromised men. Most of them were living in care facilities. These men never left the care facilities. Talk about social distancing!
The governor has the state under very strict orders. She is determined to keep it up...until there are no more cases for at least 2 weeks....this could goon forever. She is very autocratic and overbearing Democrat. Her advisors must be idiots, in this very liberal state.
And....I want to say this....people are like sheep. Why do they believe that all this misinformation...is completely the truth?
I knew intuitively - intellectually - common sense, that something Stinking was going on here.
Today, the 3 west coast governors agreed to work together to get our economies moving, and people back to work. To allow businesses the ability to open their doors again. They have not released the details, but soon, very soon.
The California and Washington governors are convincing her that this region does not need to stay locked down.
And that is my soapbox for today!
