This Journey...this Pandemic...this Life.

Most of us never thought that we would experience a pandemic in our lifetime.

Perhaps, like me...you thought of other disasters that might befall us. I have naively believed that this terrible illness would be solved by our advanced medical care, and that we would be safe, somehow. Now I know that this is not the case, there are so many ideas about what is good and what is bad, what works and what does not work...and it changes every day. This COVID-19. The "experts" have models (that are wrong) and charts (that are wrong), and they have the power to influence everything.

First, we closed down to flatten the curve, so the hospitals and medical workers would be able to handle the waves of sickness, and now the extreme fear of opening up the US is keeping us in "home prison"....and now... Gov Brown of Oregon has said that the entire state must have no new cases for 2 weeks (unless she has changed her tune today). She allowed 5 boat ramps to open, but not the toilet facilities. By the way, there are over 8000 hospital beds in Oregon, and 1% are in use at this time. People are dieing of all kinds of things.

I do believe that persons with very high risk and/or very bad health should stay quarantined and need to do so.

The Man has a friend that somehow believes that "Big Brother", "Secret Police Surveillance", or something else is watching our every move. He thinks that police will ticket him for riding in the truck with hubby. Is that Mental Distress?

How about using your common sense!  Stop making this situation into a political war, it isn't about Dems and Reps. Pelosi vs Trump. I think that idea is completely crazy!

Sometimes you just have to stop being scared and just go for it. Either it will work out or it won't. That's Life.

The Journey of this life experience is unique for each of us. We each have beliefs that we view in our own ways. Life often gives us terrible things to endure. And, no, I do not believe that when one door closes...another opens. Bull****!

Those who have lost jobs, homes, businesses, life savings and loved ones will confirm this. Life can be crap.

AND, living this way is crap! I want my freedom. Is that Mental Distress?
