I am celebrating! I have rediscovered my Inner LIght! Life has been very hard, and I have had a difficult year.
Hum, Christmas is coming soon. Today, I was inspired to find a crafting idea for me. My patience for doing this is short. A big project is a non-starter right now.
I decided to make Fabric Bookmarks...so a little trip in Pinterest was in order. So many ideas.

I like to use these for inspiration only. I am going to use some vintage embroidery, old lace, fabric, ribbons, tassels, bits of old earrings, and some of my own stitching.
I started today. I used wonder under interfacing on my fabric, to give it a heavier weight, and trimmed the fabric with pinking shears. I added the vintage embroidery with wonder under.
I selected ribbon to add, and the vintage jewelry bits of old earrings. Then...on to hand sticking, and finishing.
I thought of another idea for this project. A man's vintage silk tie, beautiful fabric....just take it apart and upcycle into a bookmark!!
