This small puppy is Kona. She is just 7 weeks old. What a cutie!
The Old Man Crap is grief ridden over the death from cancer, of Radar, our 12 1/2 yr old Lab. He was crying and very bereaved.
I called the Labrador Retriever Breeders we know, about upcoming litters, and got on the list for puppies. I had 2 requirements ... 1. Female 2. Calm disposition. I got to decide on the puppy.
She has been with us for a few days. I love her, she is going to be my special emotional support animal.
I did not say this to Old Man Crazy Crap. What he doesn't know is good.
I have been actively working everyday with her. I spend most hours with her. I want her to bond with me, and accept me as her primary human.
I am very pleased to report that my work is rewarding with Kona. She is learning quickly.
