Today is 2 days post surgery for the Old Man Crap. Not a good day! I am certain that his diabetes is sky high, out of control. I am beginning to see it.
He will not follow his post op directions. Eye Roll. Am I surprised? No
Whine, complain, writhe in pain spasms from bladder. Moan, groan, you know the baby in men...fell on the floor, what a nightmare. He's so weak and cannot walk without difficulty. He's so thin that he has no fat.
Then he went into shock. He talked to a nurse at the dr's office. Shaking all over...very bad! Very Cold too. I got him warmed up. Shock.
He hasn't been drinking the water that post op instructions him to. I gave him several tall containers of warm water...it helped warm him, and hydrate him. He had been on IV, getting very hydrated at the hospital.
Crisis, drama, not knowing what to do.. Living an hour from medical care. I can only do, what I can do...........
