2020 and 2021 seem to be the years of serious mountain climbing for most of us, if not all of us. But that's the thing with mountains - for a while, all you can see is mountain, especially when you are at the foot of it and have only begun the journey. But then you start to really make some distance and your view changes, you see more than the mountain and how incredible it feels, simply just to see more than the mountain. I think that's where I have recently arrived. I am still climbing, but recently, my vision has changed. I can see the horizon and the trees and I get a glimpse of the moon in the sky, swooning over the sun every now and again. I am seeing more than the mountain and I just feel grateful about that. There is a lot to be said for putting one foot in front of the other. At some point you look up and you can't believe how much ground you have covered. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, lovely one. It will get you to some spectacular views without you realizing it.
