Telling A Friends Children...

Today I had to do something. Something that I never thought that I would need to do. You see...this close friend of the old man crap, has been having difficulty with aging. The usual things for someone 79 yrs old. He has been hiding these things from his two sons. Covid 19 restrictions have not been good for his well being. His cognitive decline, vision problems, driving problems, not taking the correct roads to get to his home. I think that there are other things.

It is probably the best time for his sons to have the serious discussion with him. He still is able to discuss his future, and they can look for the help he needs.

I know that this means anxiety, and a big change in the adult sons responsibility for their Dad.

Still it is better than waiting for a crisis.
