The national news about the bombing into Russia has me wondering about the future.

My family was living on a large Air Force Base near Little Rock, Arkansas. Dad, in the Air Force, was working full time shifts in the Minute Man missile silos. These were nuclear weapons.
The Bay of Pigs, 1961, happened. This was the closest America has even been getting ready for the WORST.
America was ready, but so were Cuba and the Soviet Union. So close to our nation!
Today, I have been considering the present situation. I hope that cooler heads will stop escalation of the situation.
