This is our beekeeping operation.
This winter our bees have died. Why? My best opinion is that their Queen died. The remaining hive failed to raise a new Queen. Queenless hives do not live, due to no reproduction of worker bees. They may have had something else happen... The large colony did not consume much of their stored Honey. Now, we have about 60# of honey to harvest. That much honey will fill many quart jars. I think that it is time to stop beekeeping.
