It is back to school time, and my memories of childhood are of new dresses and saddle shoes. Yep, my mom loved these sturdy, practical leather shoes. They lasted until I grew out of them. I think that I had a pair of these every year until High School. I liked the tan and brown colors best...with anklets or knee highs of course. An icon of the 50's! How about you?
