Who knows what you really need and want except for you?
Take Care of Yourself

I got this pic from Sew She Can. Somewhere on her site is a pattern for this quilt. I didn't find it. My idea is that this quilt should be easy to copy into a size that I want. I want to make a small quilt for a baby gift. I could find a variety of baby fabrics that will work for both girls and boys. It is a good idea! Would I be able to pull it off? Questionable, my follow through on larger projects is not great right now.

The Self-Actualized Person Is Autonomous
Gratitude can increase happiness and resilience.
Cultivating gratitude can increase your personal happiness and resilience toward stress.
Self-actualized people also tend to be very independent. They don't conform to other people's ideas of happiness or contentment. This original perspective allows the individual to live in the moment and appreciate the beauty of each experience.
They Enjoy Solitude and Privacy
Self-actualized individuals value their privacy and enjoy solitude. While they also love the company of others, taking time to themselves is essential for their personal discovery and cultivating their individual potential.
They Have a Philosophical Sense of Humor
Self-actualized individuals generally have a thoughtful sense of humor. They're able to enjoy the humor in situations and laugh at themselves, but they don't ridicule or joke at the expense of another person's feelings.
Self-Actualized People Are Spontaneous
Another characteristic of self-actualized people is a tendency to be open, unconventional, and spontaneous. While these people are able to follow generally accepted social expectations, they don't feel confined by these norms in their thoughts or behaviors.
They Fully Enjoy the Journey, Not Just the Destination
While self-actualized people have concrete goals, they don't see things as simply a means to an end. The journey toward achieving a goal is just as important and enjoyable as actually accomplishing the goal.

I have been reading books written by Brene Brown this winter. She is interesting to read, and sends all of us the information to make our lives better.

Sometimes, the very best gift we can give ourselves is a little bit of time alone — complete silence and complete calm.
Even if it's just for a little while, quiet time is essential for our souls. Our deepest truths speak in quiet little voices most of the time, and we have to get our lives calm and quiet to be able to hear them. Just sit, just listen.
It may seem too simple, too good to be true. But so many of the mysteries of life have the simplest answers, and we just have to trust in their simplicity. Give yourself the gift of solitude, quiet, and a listening heart as often as you can, and you will hear the things you need to hear.
Unplug, walk away, take a breath. Do it for the sake of everything and everyone you love. And especially, do it for you.
Your answers are in there. Your calm, wise self is in there too. Now, go find her. She's been waiting patiently.
You are so very loved, dear kindred.

This color is named Sea Mist, and it was in production from 1989 to 2005. It took plenty of research to find this information, and this photo confirming the shape I found. My junking today found these pieces without the lid. I may go back to try to find the lid...bummer about that. These are a good addition to my collection, and I am very happy with junking today.

Dear Unquantifiably Valuable Soul,
You know you are just as valuable as everyone else, right?
So….do you behave as if you are just as valuable as everyone else?
One of the most powerful things we can do it is to stand in our very own skin and proclaim out loud what we will and will not allow . . . what we will and will not believe in. . . what we will and will not fight for, or fight about . . . what we will and will not accept as truth for our life or ourselves.
Sometimes we think things, but we never CLAIM those things powerfully, or PROCLAIM them.
Sometimes we know something is not right . . . or we know something is very very right . . . but we never stand in our own power and make it real.
So, here’s something to try. Try to stand up tall . . . get your big, radiant and powerful soul into your own skin . . . and say some things out loud that you believe, things that you may have been afraid to say out loud before.
You will find that you will be amazed to hear your own bold self say things with such power and conviction - and you will find that your actions will follow your proclamations.
Come on, just try it.
Let yourself hear it from your own mouth . . . miracles are bound to happen.
Do what leads to self-respect. Behave as if you are valuable, because you are.
You are so very very very loved.
xoxo
