He may drive a very old pickup truck, that's seen many
better days. It still runs and that's OK. Everyone doesn't
need to show off things like that.
He is considerate of his neighbors, and will help them out.
He shares his extra eggs with his neighbors. He let's them
know when he is working on his place...right over the fenceline.
He is a little bit shy, until he knows you. We work together.
He always has the latest scoop about the local area, friends, and local
knowledge. He grew up here. Life hasn't always been kind, he
has gone through some really rough times.
You would never know that he is wealthy. Those darn clothes
have been worn out for quite a while. We wave and smile.
That's how it is living in very rural Oregon.
