My Method to Make Bread, the No Knead Way.
Sunday, September 25, 2011
I have this free booklet from Fleischmann's Yeast and this is my favorite way to make bread. I like no knead bread with the artisan taste and texture. Hubby loves it.
To get your own copy, go to breadbreakthrough. I like the cover recipe, Easy Oat Bread. I'm not a good bread maker, but this recipe is one that comes out for me. This no knead method does take planning ahead, because it uses a long rise, 15 to 28 hours, then a second rise of 2 to 4 hours. There are alternative rises in the refrigerator, and rapid methods.
I have some rising in the refrigerator right now, to bake tomorrow.
The author also has a cookbook, Kneadlessly Simple, by Nancy Baggett.
