I had a big surprise yesterday at the local thrift store. A donation had come in from someone's grandma. A collection of Anchor Hocking kitchen glass. I saw 6-7 pairs of shakers, and 5 matching grease-drippings jars.
I have collecting these for many years, and rarely do I see pairs anywhere...let alone 3 piece sets. This set is currently on Ebay for $115. The price was $20.
Did I purchase everything? No. Why? Sometimes I just need to think about it, and decide if I really want them.
What did I purchase? A set of tulip shakers, in excellent condition, with like new lids.
A set of Red Dot Shakers. Excellent condition with like new lids.
I shall return to purchase some more of the collection. The apple set is coming home with me.
