Many of us as CEN, and sensitive children did not get our needs met so it's a powerful experience to connect with our inner child and learn to give them what they need now. Just as a physical child needs nurturing and care, our inner child also needs attention and healing. Understanding and reconnecting with our inner child allows us to access deep self-awareness, compassion, and healing, ultimately leading to personal growth and emotional well-being.
I think it's helpful to pause for a moment and check in with our inner child every once in a while. Take a moment, put your hand on your heart, close your eyes, take some deep, slow breaths and check in with a loving, nurturing energy. How's that inner child doing? Do they need some attention? Have they been trying to send you some messages? If you were to meet their need, what would that be?
I will always remind you of your value, strength and worth. You are important. You are valuable. You are here for a reason. Rest your beautiful mind, body and spirit whenever you need it. Meditate daily to connect to your inner peace. Take care of that little inner child who needs your attention. Honoring your boundaries and needs also honors your inner child and makes them feel safe. Nurture your beautiful sensitive self so you can bloom. Have compassion for yourself during hard moments. Listen to your body cues giving you information. Be still a little everyday. Be one with nature. Love and celebrate your uniqueness. You are special and I'm so glad you are here in the world
Today's resources give you guidance on the profound experience of connecting to, supporting and loving your inner child.
