I subscribe to this magazine, the contents are usually appealing to me. I have dropped my subscription to Hobby Farm, as there is not much content. This issue has a great article about outdoor kitchens, called Cooking Alfresco. I have long thought that a small roofed structure would be nice.  I would set it up with outdoor stuff, put the gas grill under it, and the charcoal cooking area. I would be able to do some canning outdoors to avoid heating the house. Maybe even a solar oven if the fancy strikes me. I would put out some vintage wares to decorate!

Hobby Farm Home Magazine

I love great magazines, and this one is one of my favorites.  Check it out online hobbyfarmhome and I hope that you like it.  I have diverse interests, and this magazine fits my farm, gardening, and cooking loves. There is a feature article about cooking with Sourdough. I have read it at least three times.  There are some recipes that I will definitely make.


The cake article is intriguing, and I will make several of those recipes in the future.


My life has been busy this week...and wedding planning on Saturday. Today, Sunday, Hubby and I met our future Son-in-law's parents. We hosted them at our home today. They are great people and I look forward to seeing them. The wedding is now 20 days...July 30. Time is flying.
