Today I bring you more wisdom from the The Brave Girls Club. This quote is amazing in offering you to think and consider your life.
"It is truly amazing how each brave new decision we make in our lives brings us to a more peaceful place on a soul deep level.
As you grow and change and learn, you will become more peaceful inside. As you discover what is true and right for yourself, you align your life to live around that truth....and when what you believe, aligns with what you do, you feel peaceful.
Live by your own truth, sweet girl, and you will no longer worry about what others around you are thinking or doing. This is the way to freedom and peace, and you are getting closer every day."
I have been personally working toward this truth and peace for a while now....and I feel so much better for it. My life has changed with wisdom from my brave decisions and following my truth. Of course, there are times and situations that I find very challenging and difficult. A few weeks ago I had stomach pains and thought that I was getting an ulcer. I no longer have the pains....good.
The excitement today is that one of our honey bee hives decided to swarm. I just had finished a full day of working on the farm. I sat down outside to rest a bit, and the bees took flight. They start flying above their hive in a circular pattern. The noise of all those bees is pretty loud and noticeable.
The swarm decided to travel about 8 feet, to the nearby apple tree...and clustered on a branch in the top photo. There is no time to waste when we need to capture the swarm...get all the needed items and go to work. Did you know that bees are very docile at this time, they have no home to protect...and just want to stay with the queen. Everyone that panics about a swarm...don't do it...located a bee keeper to take the bees away.
The bottom photo is taken about 1/2 hour later, and the bees are captured and happy to have a new home. We are happy to have captured our own bees...and have a new hive.
I remember all those times when I was very young...pretending to be a princess. Princess's need a tiara! Me too! In fact, I have collected a few vintage tiaras from junk stores. I don't mind a little bent, and missing some stones, it just adds to the interesting character. I take an beat-up tiara and add something like a rhinestone brooch, and earrings. Wired or glued on...it just adds to the look...like this pic. Fun! I have a collection of 5...a little style for the studio. Why? I don't know.
This photo of me wearing a crown of chicken wire, The Garden Diva.
I found this lovely pink wool blanket at a thrift store last week. I know nothing about this item...completely unfamiliar with the brand. Online searches give a tiny bit of information. Made in Canada, and no longer in business. Several styles of labels were used. That's it folks. If you know anything relevant about the maker, or province of this blanket....please let me know.
I enjoy the art of Kelly Rae Roberts. In fact, I have two small pictures from her collection. She is going to be teaching at Brave Girls Symposium, July 2016. I am anticipating a wonderful presentation.
I dedicate this post to Tonya. I am wishing you a good resolution to the current situation.
